These Terms of Use (the "Terms") govern your access to and use of the Pump Squads website, its interface and the features offered through it (together, the "Interface"). The Interface is operated by Pump Squads ("Pump Squads", "we", "us" or "our").
Please read them carefully. They explain what the Interface is and is not, the risks of using it, the rules for launching tokens and receiving creator fees, and the limits on our responsibility. Crypto assets are risky: you can lose everything you put in.
11. Agreement to these Terms
By accessing or using the Interface, connecting a wallet to it, or confirming your acceptance when asked, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy, which explains how we handle information. If you do not agree, do not use the Interface.
If you use the Interface for an organisation, you confirm that you are allowed to accept these Terms for it, and "you" then includes that organisation.
Specific features may show additional conditions before you use them (for example on a claim or application form). Those conditions form part of these Terms.
22. About Pump Squads and the Interface
Pump Squads is a software interface for the Solana blockchain. It lets you interact with programs deployed on Solana: to create ("launch") tokens, trade them against their on-chain liquidity pools, receive creator fees, apply for creator-fee takeovers and view public blockchain data.
The programs run on the blockchain, not on our servers, and execute according to their code. The Interface reads public data, prepares transactions and hands them to your wallet. You decide whether to sign and send them; we cannot do it for you.
Some features rely on off-chain systems we operate, such as indexing and displaying blockchain data, token information and images, social-account claims, takeover applications, reports and moderation, and the $SQUADS burn.
The Interface may be connected to a test network. Test tokens and test SOL have no value, and test deployments may use different parameters, be reset or be discontinued at any time.
33. Eligibility
You may use the Interface only if all of the following are true:
- you are at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding agreement;
- your use complies with every law and regulation that applies to you, including laws on securities, commodities, derivatives, consumer protection, anti-money laundering, counter-terrorist financing, taxes and sanctions;
- you are not located in, resident in, or organised under the laws of a Restricted Jurisdiction (section 4), and you are not acting for anyone who is;
- you are not a Sanctioned Person (section 4), and you are not owned or controlled by, or acting for, a Sanctioned Person;
- the assets you use come from lawful sources; and
- we have not previously suspended or restricted your access.
By using the Interface you confirm that each of these statements is true, and will stay true while you use it.
44. Restricted Jurisdictions
The Interface is not offered to, and must not be used by, anyone who is located in, resident in, or organised under the laws of any of the following (each a "Restricted Jurisdiction"):
- Cuba
- Iran
- North Korea
- Syria
- Russia
- Belarus
- the Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine
- Myanmar (Burma)
- Venezuela
- the United Kingdom
- any member state of the European Union
- any other country or territory subject to comprehensive sanctions by the United Nations, the United States (including the Office of Foreign Assets Control, "OFAC"), the European Union or the United Kingdom
The Interface is also not offered to any "Sanctioned Person": a person or entity named on OFAC's Specially Designated Nationals and Blocked Persons List, or on any similar list kept by the United Nations, the European Union, the United Kingdom or another relevant authority, or owned or controlled by such a person.
Do not use a VPN, proxy or any other method to hide where you are or to get around these restrictions. We may change this list at any time, for example when sanctions change; the version in force when you use the Interface applies. If any of this starts to apply to you, stop using the Interface immediately.
55. Our right to restrict access
We may block, limit, suspend or end access to all or part of the Interface, for anyone, at any time and without notice, including by wallet address, device or location, if we believe it is needed to comply with law or sanctions, to protect the Interface, its users or us, to respond to security incidents, fraud, abuse or legal requests, or to manage legal, security or other risks. We may also hide tokens, content or features.
Restricting access to the Interface does not change anything on-chain. The programs are public, and you may still be able to interact with them by other means, but we have no obligation to help you do so.
66. A noncustodial interface
- We never hold your assets. Your tokens and SOL stay in your wallet or in the on-chain programs. Only the keys you control can move assets out of your wallet.
- We cannot reverse anything. We cannot access, freeze, move, recover or refund your assets, and we cannot cancel or reverse a transaction once it is sent.
- We are not a financial institution. Pump Squads is not a bank, broker, dealer, exchange, custodian, money transmitter, investment adviser or fiduciary, and does not act as your agent. We do not take, route or match orders for you.
- Nothing is advice. Token pages, charts, lists, rankings, labels, risk indicators, burn figures, docs, and anything we post on social media are information only. None of it is investment, financial, legal, tax or other advice, or a recommendation or offer to buy, sell or hold anything. Do your own research and speak to independent advisers.
77. Wallets and security
To use most features you connect a wallet made by a third party. Your wallet is governed by its provider's own terms, and we are not responsible for how it works.
- You alone are responsible for your wallet, your private keys, your recovery phrase and your devices. Never share your private key or recovery phrase with anyone. Pump Squads will never ask for them, on the Interface, on X or anywhere else. Anyone who asks is trying to steal from you.
- Check every transaction and signature request in your wallet before approving it: the network, the addresses, the amounts, and what a signature allows (for example a message that links your wallet to an account).
- If your keys are lost, stolen or exposed, we cannot recover your assets or undo what someone does with them.
- Watch out for impersonators and fake websites. Our only official social account is listed in section 27.
88. Transactions
- Numbers are estimates. Quotes, prices, market caps, fees, balances, USD values, profit and loss and every other figure the Interface shows are estimates based on the data available at that moment. They may be delayed, incomplete or wrong. What actually happens is decided by the blockchain when your transaction executes.
- Slippage. You choose a slippage tolerance. A trade may execute at a worse price within that tolerance, or fail if the price moves beyond it.
- Transactions may fail. A transaction can fail, be delayed or be front-run because of network congestion, price movement, insufficient balance, smart-contract conditions, wallet problems or other causes. You may still pay network fees for a failed transaction.
- Transactions are irreversible. Once a transaction is confirmed, nobody, including Pump Squads, can cancel, reverse or refund it.
- Portfolio figures. Profit and loss, cost, holding time and similar portfolio figures are calculated by us from indexed blockchain data using simplified assumptions. They are for information only and are not tax or accounting records.
99. Token launches and content
9.1Creators are responsible for their tokens
The person who launches a token through the Interface (the "launcher") is solely responsible for it: its name, symbol, description, logo, links and any other content, everything they say about it anywhere, and complying with the laws that apply to it, including securities, consumer protection and intellectual property laws.
9.2A launch is not an endorsement
Pump Squads does not create, issue, sponsor, endorse, review, audit or verify tokens launched by users. A token appearing on the Interface, in a list, ranking or search result, or with a badge or label, is not a statement about its quality, legitimacy, value or the people behind it. Tokens may use the names or images of people, brands or projects that have nothing to do with them; treat any such link as unverified.
9.3We may hide off-chain content
We may, at our discretion and without notice, hide, label, remove or refuse to show any token, name, image, description, link or other content on the Interface, for any reason, including reports from users. Hiding a token changes only what the Interface shows; it does not change the token or its pool.
9.4On-chain data is permanent
A token's contract, its name and symbol, its transactions and anything else recorded on the blockchain cannot be edited or deleted by anyone, including Pump Squads.
9.5Logo uploads are stored on IPFS and are permanent
When you upload a logo, it is stored on IPFS, a public, decentralised file network, and the token uses its IPFS address. Files on IPFS are public and can be copied and kept by anyone indefinitely. Neither you nor Pump Squads can reliably delete an uploaded file, even if we hide it on the Interface. Only upload images you own or have the right to use, and never upload personal information.
1010. Creator fees, social accounts and takeovers
10.1How creator fees work
Every trade in a Pump Squads token's pool pays a trading fee in SOL, chosen at launch within the limits of the platform's launch configurations (a higher fee can apply during a short window right after launch; coins launched as Pump.fun coins pay Pump.fun's own fee). Each fee is split: 50% to the token's creator (its current fee recipient), 20% to the $SQUADS burn (section 12) and 30% to the platform (Pump.fun coins split their creator fee differently, as shown at launch). Creator fees are held by the token's escrow and paid out to the current fee recipient, about every hour. Fees depend entirely on trading activity and may be zero.
10.2Choosing who receives creator fees
The launcher can send a token's creator fees to their own wallet, to another wallet, or to an account on a supported social platform. The named person or account is not asked for consent and may not know about the token. Being named does not mean they launched, own or support the token, and it does not mean they are affiliated with Pump Squads.
10.3Claiming fees as a social account
Creator fees assigned to a social account stay with the token's escrow, which Pump Squads manages for that account. To claim them you must log in through the Interface with the exact account named at launch, then connect the Solana wallet that should receive the fees and sign a message proving you control it. From then on the escrow pays the account's creator fees to that wallet with the regular payouts. After the first claim, the account's identifier is recorded and later claims must come from the same account.
Never try to claim fees for an account you do not own or control. We may refuse, pause or delay a claim that we reasonably believe is fraudulent, disputed or unlawful.
10.4The 10-day window
For a token whose creator fees go to a social account, no takeover can be applied for during the first 10 days after launch, so the account's owner has time to learn about it and claim. After those 10 days, if the account has not claimed, holders may apply for a takeover (10.6).
10.5The 30-day redirect of unclaimed social-account fees
Creator fees assigned to a social account that are still unclaimed 30 days after they were earned are redirected to the $SQUADS burn and can no longer be claimed by the account. Fees earned in the most recent 30 days stay reserved for the account. If the token is taken over before the account claimed, the fees the account had earned up to the takeover stay claimable for 30 days after the takeover, then are redirected to the $SQUADS burn as well. Redirected fees cannot be recovered.
10.6Takeovers
Holders who keep a token going may apply to receive its creator fees through a takeover application, subject to the requirements shown on the application form (for example a minimum token holding and a verification post). Pump Squads reviews applications at its sole discretion, and has no obligation to approve any application or to explain a decision. A takeover can apply to any token, whether its fees go to a wallet or a social account, and does not require the current creator to be inactive. By launching a token, or by accepting its creator role, you accept that the role can be reassigned this way.
If Pump Squads approves an application:
- Pump Squads schedules the change of fee recipient. A notice period of at least 24 hours runs before the change takes effect. The change is shown on the token page, and it can be cancelled during the notice.
- After the notice, the token's escrow pays every creator fee earned from then on to the new wallet.
- The previous creator keeps the fees already earned. A takeover never moves fees earned before it takes effect: they are paid to the previous recipient (for a social account, the 30-day rule in 10.5 applies).
1111. Trading and liquidity risks
- Tokens launched through Pump Squads are highly speculative and volatile. They usually have no intrinsic value, no issuer promises and no rights to profits, and they can become worthless quickly. Many do. Only use money you can afford to lose.
- Each token's launch liquidity is locked in its pool by the on-chain programs and cannot be withdrawn by the creator or by Pump Squads. Locked liquidity does not protect you from falling prices, large holders selling, or a token losing all its value.
- Prices can move sharply within seconds. Thin liquidity means large trades move the price a lot.
- Verify addresses. Copycat tokens can use the same name, symbol or logo as another token. The token's mint address is the only reliable identifier; check it before you trade.
- Labels such as creator, sniper or holder tags, risk figures and bonding or graduation progress are derived automatically from on-chain data. They can be wrong or incomplete, and they say nothing about a token's future value.
1212. The $SQUADS burn
Part of every token's trading fees goes to a public fee wallet. Pump Squads uses the SOL in that wallet to buy back $SQUADS and burn it (send it where it can never be moved again), and shows the fee wallet, the $SQUADS supply, the amount burnt so far and each burn transaction in the Interface.
Buybacks and burns are made on a best-effort basis. They are not guarantees: Pump Squads does not promise that any amount will be bought back or burnt, that a buyback or burn will happen by any date or at any price, or that burning will lead to any price, volume, supply or other result for $SQUADS or any other token. Pump Squads may change how and when buybacks and burns are made, their size and frequency, and the venues used. Fees sent to the fee wallet are not owned by the creator or the holders of any token and are not refundable.
1313. Risk disclosures
Using blockchain software carries risks that you accept by using the Interface, including:
- Smart-contract risk: contracts can contain bugs or be exploited, even when they have been reviewed.
- Network risk: the blockchain can be congested, halted, reorganised, forked or changed by others, and test networks can be reset.
- Third-party risk: wallets, data providers, pools, exchanges and other services we do not control can fail, change or act against your interests.
- Regulatory risk: laws and their enforcement can change and may restrict your use of the Interface or affect the value of tokens.
- Information risk: data on the Interface can be delayed, incomplete or wrong.
- Security risk: phishing, malware, fake websites and social engineering target crypto users.
You are solely responsible for your decisions and for evaluating these risks.
1414. Fees and taxes
Using Pump Squads can involve:
- each token's trading fee, split as described in section 10;
- rent and network fees for a launch, shown before you confirm it; and
- Solana network fees (including priority fees and tips), which go to the network, not to Pump Squads.
Where possible the Interface shows fees before you confirm, but the amounts enforced on-chain apply. Fee settings for future launches may change. Fees are not refundable.
You are solely responsible for working out, reporting and paying any taxes on your activity, including on trades and creator fees. Pump Squads does not provide tax documents or tax advice.
1515. Acceptable use
When using the Interface you must not:
- break any law, or use the Interface for money laundering, terrorist financing, sanctions evasion or fraud;
- manipulate markets, for example through wash trading, coordinated pump-and-dump schemes or misleading promotion;
- launch tokens or submit content that is unlawful, infringing, defamatory, hateful, harassing, sexually exploitative, violent, deceptive, or that contains someone else's personal information or malicious code;
- impersonate Pump Squads or anyone else, or falsely suggest an affiliation or endorsement;
- claim or try to claim fees for an account you do not control, or submit false takeover applications, fake verification posts or forged signatures;
- file false or abusive reports;
- attack, overload or interfere with the Interface, get around rate limits or access restrictions (including location-based ones), scrape it at abusive rates, or probe it for vulnerabilities without our permission (we welcome responsible reports through X).
1616. Third-party services and links
The Interface links to or works with services we do not operate, such as wallets, block explorers, third-party trading platforms and terminals, Bubblemaps holder maps, social networks and token data or listing sites. They have their own terms and privacy policies. We do not control or endorse them and are not responsible for their content, availability, accuracy or anything you do on them. Links are provided for convenience only.
1717. Intellectual property
The Interface, including its design, text, graphics, software and the Pump Squads name and logo, belongs to Pump Squads or its licensors. Content submitted by users and open-source components under their own licences are excluded.
While you comply with these Terms, we give you a limited, personal, revocable, non-exclusive and non-transferable permission to use the Interface. Do not copy, modify, frame or resell it, and do not use our names or logos in a way that suggests we endorse you or your token.
1818. Content you submit
"Your content" means anything you submit through the Interface: token names, symbols, descriptions, logos and links, social handles you name, takeover applications and the links in them, reports and any other material.
- You keep whatever rights you have in your content.
- You give Pump Squads a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free, transferable and sublicensable licence to host, store, copy, display, adapt (for example resize or crop), publish and distribute your content in order to operate, show, promote and improve the Interface. Because on-chain data and IPFS files are permanent, this licence is perpetual and irrevocable for content recorded on-chain or on IPFS.
- You confirm you have every right needed to submit your content and to grant this licence, and that it does not break any law or anyone else's rights.
- We do not have to host or show your content and may hide or remove it at any time.
1919. Feedback
If you send us ideas, suggestions or other feedback, we may use them for any purpose without obligation or payment to you.
2020. Service availability
We try to keep the Interface running, but it may be slow, unavailable or interrupted, and indexed data may lag behind the chain. We may change, suspend or stop any part of the Interface at any time, including supported networks, features and supported social platforms, without notice and without liability. We have no obligation to maintain, support or update it.
2121. No warranties
The Interface is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, Pump Squads disclaims all warranties, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, accuracy and availability, and any warranty that the Interface or the on-chain programs will be secure, error-free or work as expected.
Some places do not allow certain warranties to be excluded, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.
2222. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Pump Squads and its contributors, contractors, service providers and licensors (the "Pump Squads Parties") will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, digital assets, goodwill or opportunity, arising out of or related to the Interface, the on-chain programs, any token, any transaction, any third-party service, or any unauthorised access to your wallet or devices, even if we were told such loss was possible.
To the same extent, the total liability of the Pump Squads Parties for all claims related to the Interface or these Terms is limited to one hundred US dollars (USD 100).
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
2323. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless the Pump Squads Parties from any claims, losses, liabilities, damages, costs and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Interface, your content, any token you launch or promote, your breach of these Terms or of any law, or your violation of anyone else's rights.
2424. Termination
You may stop using the Interface at any time. We may suspend or end your access at any time, for any reason, including a breach of these Terms. Ending access to the Interface does not affect anything on-chain.
Every part of these Terms that by its nature should continue after access ends will continue, including the sections on the noncustodial nature of the Interface, transactions, content and permanence, creator fees, risks, fees and taxes, intellectual property, your content, no warranties, limitation of liability, indemnification and general terms.
2525. General
- Whole agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy and any feature-specific conditions shown in the Interface are the whole agreement between you and Pump Squads about the Interface.
- Severability. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, it is limited to the minimum extent necessary and the rest stays in effect.
- No waiver. If we do not enforce a right, we have not given it up.
- Assignment. You may not transfer your rights or obligations under these Terms without our consent. We may transfer ours, for example with a reorganisation or a transfer of the Interface.
- Events beyond our control. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, such as network failures, attacks, outages of third-party services or changes in law.
- No third-party beneficiaries, except the Pump Squads Parties under the limitation of liability and indemnification sections.
- Interpretation. Headings are for convenience only, and "including" means "including without limitation". If a translation differs from the English version, the English version applies.
2626. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms at any time. When we do, we update the effective date at the top of this page, and for material changes the Interface asks you to accept again the next time you connect a wallet. Changes apply from the moment they are published. If you keep using the Interface, you accept the updated Terms; if you do not agree, stop using it.
2727. Contact
Contact us by direct message on X: @pumpsquadsxyz (x.com/pumpsquadsxyz). This is our only official contact channel and our only official social account.
We will never ask for your private key or recovery phrase.
